Today we're going to review part number PXQT865CHN. This is the Phoenix USA Quick Trim Chrome ABS Trailer Hub Cover, fits the eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern. This hub cover gives you a quick, cost effective way to dress up your trailer wheels. It's made of a chrome ABS plastic material. It's a very easy, snap on installation. Right here, this would snap on over the lugs of the wheel and what's nice about this is when it's installed on your wheel, it covers the lugs and then that ugly hub that sticks through the center of the wheel is covered with this.
This is designed to fit on wheels that have an eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern and it's also designed to fit wheels that use the seven eighths inch lug nut size. A few measurements real quick on this, the overall diameter outside to outside is going to be right at eight and three eighths inches. Overall height which would be from the bottom to the very top is going to be right at four and a quarter inches and again, it's a chrome plated finish. What I want to do now is show you an example. Here is your common eight spoke white trailer wheel and you can see this has an eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern so this is the wheel it's designed to fit on. Basically what you would do is, if you'll notice on the back here, you'll see these little clips around each lug hole.
What you'll do is this is on your trailer, your hubs going to stick through here and then your studs that your lug nuts go onto are sticking through here. Once this is installed on your trailer, what you'll do is just line this up over the lugs and then push it down and it clips into place and it is held in place on the lug nuts themselves once you popped it onto place. To remove it, you'll just find the area where there's a little cut out right here. Where that is, you just look at that little cut out, put a screwdriver in there and pop the cap right off to access your lug nuts. Once it's installed, it gives you a nice, clean look to the wheel and the other thing I do want to mention and we also sell as a related product if you even want to go a little bit further, is we offer a related part. It's sold separately on our website and it's part number PXQT865CLO and it's an ABS plastic chrome trim ring and it's just like a hub cap. It has the clips on it so what you'll do with this is find the spot in here where there's a cut out and that's where the valve stem would go, it sticks through the hole right here.
Then find the valve stem hole on your wheel which would be right here. You line that up so your valve stem would stick through and then you'll just pop this on like a hub cap, snap it on and this goes on the outer rim and then with the center part put in there, you can see that this would give you a wheel that's almost all chrome, very nice finish to it. Again, this wheel liner is a related product and it would be sold separately. It is usually listed on the product page for this center hub cover as a related product. The New Chrome Center Hub Caps look fabulous on the horse trailer,
etrailer promptness, excellent pricing & fast delivery is second to none.
Over past several years I’ve dealt with numerous online companies for parts for my diesel trucks, as well as upgrades & improvements on my horse trailer.
And the 2 that I can say that provided exemplary service;

These caps do not have the retention rings on like the old ones, so hope they stay in place as we head down the road & hit uneven roadways & pot holes.

The online photo does not do these justice. They are bright chrome plated, and exactly match the original equipment hub covers that were on my horse trailer. The price is the best I've seen anywhere, and they fit my trailer perfectly.

The product I purchased was a bearing cap/lug nut cover.
I like that the size was correct, fitting over the cap & nut and inside the trim ring as advertised. Fit was snug but also easy to install. The description of the product was accurate. Good support from sales personal during a phone call to order.
Was able to replace missing covers. Should help prevent lug nut corrosion.
